Kissing the Sea

You kissed the sea for me
Where I was there was only sands
And nothing in these strong hands
And everything for me to be

Another letter from my favorite snake
Another front is about to open
Those strange rituals on that lake
Where this omen was written

Facts, front, decision to be taken
Pressure, time compression, reflexion
Half-way thru it could it really be?
With only the half moon as an aide

Tomorrow horror will be my friend
The very necessity of this burden
Maybe I will sleep in my bed of linden
Anyhow this will be time well spend

You will kiss the sea for me
My agenda will next bring me to Mecca
Something needs to be released by me
And My next stop will finally be Alexandria

Where I may kiss the sea if gods forgive
If it were just for me I would carry on
Sometimes I do not choose the way I live
And I just heard I must go to Babylon...
